Tropical Courtyard is a 30 x 40 x 3/4 inch original oil painting on a gallery wrapped canvas. I painted this one after a trip to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. That’s right, everyone else was taking pictures of animals that can be found on the internet, but I was taking pictures of the plantlife for further study. I love the small courtyards in the French Quarter of New Orleans with their aging brickwork and tropical plants. It’s one of my first oil paintings and in light of opening this new website, I’ve decided to put it for sale.
